Creating A Wedding-Day Look For Any Season

Author: Stacey Moore
Increasingly, brides are choosing a season other than spring for their wedding. So how do you create a wedding-day look to reflect the season? Here are some tips:

Fall: For a fall wedding, opt for more dramatic hues for your eyes while keeping lips pretty and understated with a light pink or neutral color. Adding false lashes as a finishing touch can make your eyes smolder.

Brown eyes will look delicate and soft next to rich blues such as Palladio Herbal Eye Shadow in Blue Suede. Green eyes really pop when dusted with a purple shadow, and blue eyes look intense when highlighted with metallic silver or a strong grey.

If you are unsure of a color, stay with plum tones-they complement nearly every eye color and complexion and create the perfect balance of warmth and brilliance.

If you want to go a bit less bold but still want to add color, try pairing a colorful liner with a neutral shadow. Opt for a liner that offers a bit of shimmer to add dimension to the eye.

Winter: Some say nothing attracts more attention at a winter wedding than beautiful cherry lips. Keeping the eyes simple with a beautiful champagne shade and a bit of shimmer will draw all eyes to your smile. A stunning wine or a berry hue is the right way to warm up your look.

To create the illusion of plumper, fuller lips, finish with a little bit of matching or clear gloss. Try Savvy Infinity Long Lasting Lip Color with Claudia Stevens Clear Lip Gloss.

Summer: Summer is all about radiant skin. Let a healthy summer glow be the foundation of your look. Keep eyes and lips natural and luminous with sheer and simple colors.

To achieve that healthy summer glow, start with a self-tanner such as Tanwise self-tanning system. In addition to the tanner, this system offers an exfoliator and moisturizers to improve the health of the skin. On the big day, top it off with a light shimmer powder or a lotion that offers a bit of shine, such as Creative Scentsations Vanilla Shimmer.

No matter what the season or the current style, always remember to make your decision based on what works for you. Incorporate the colors and looks that make you happy and feel your most beautiful.
