The second largest city of Korea, Pusan is the principle port for carrying out international cargos. It also serves as the main port for ferrying passengers to Japan and Jeju Island. With a population of 4 million people, it is an attractive city with lots of fun and enjoyment. You have many attractive sights to visit. Pusan is a famous city for palatable seafood and beaches.
Beaches form the main bunch of attractions in the city. You would really be impressed by the wonderful Waterways that feature picturesque Islands. Though it is a port, it features several steep hills that impart uniqueness to entire region'a rare combination of ocean and mountains. During the Korean War it remained untouched. However, the flood brought drastic changes in its shape.
Pusan Market is on of the most attractive destinations in the city. It features variety of fresh seafood and many other luxury items. City's nightlife is stunningly charming. Being close to Ocean, Pusan gets the advantage of milder winter than other places in Korea. People feel more comfortable in enjoying the night life because of this reason. And since it is a major international airport, it serves as a mean of livelihood for many sailors.
Besides beaches, do not forget to visit Yongdusan Park, Yi Sun-shin statue, the fish market the U.N. Cemetery and the Municipal Museum'they all would make you more knowledgeable about Pusan Korea. If you love to play at casinos and have a Spa massage, Haeundae can be the best place in the city. Pomosa, a 7th century temple is also a thing of great interest. |
