Details Of The Advanta Platinum Rewards Application

Author: Beth Derkowitz

The Advanta Platinum Rewards BusinessCard MasterCard, which is issued through Advanta, is best suited to business owners who want to consolidate their expenses onto one credit card account. This card has the added bonus for cardholders of offering rewards and rebates for any purchases for the business.

The rewards program allows cardholders to earn one point for each dollar spent on everyday purchases. The points can then be used for airline tickets, other travel rewards, and pre-paid bonus cards. On the Advanta Platinum Rewards MasterCard, there is no limit to the points you can earn during the year, but points do expire after 3 years. If the cardholder is not interested in a rewards program, per se, they can choose a rebate program where 1% to 5% cash back can be earned on purchases. Whichever the cardholder chooses, these programs are both free!

The Advanta Platinum BusinessCard MasterCard has no annual fee and a 0% introductory APR for the first fifteen months. This APR applies to balance transfers only. The cards fixed APR of 7.99% is extremely low and reasonable. The fixed APR on cash advances is also reasonable at 7.99%! This rate for cash advances is not seen on many credit cards! There are, of course, finance charges for any purchases that are not paid for within the first 20 days, and there are charges for other services like cash advances and balance transfers. The maximum credit limit offered on the Chase Business Rebate Card is $50,000.

Other common platinum business features apply to this MasterCard, as well, like auto rental insurance, extended warranty coverage, itemized expense reports and account access over the internet. Cardholders can also enjoy discounts from participating retailers and merchants on certain products and services.

With no annual fee and such a low APR, the Advanta Platinum Rewards BusinessCard MasterCard is one that should be considered closely. It can be beneficial to anyone who can take advantage of its rewards or rebate programs.
