Part One This may sound a little vacant-headed, but having embarked on a new ezine journey and knowing I HAVE to write an article, I thought, what on earth do I write about that hasnt been written about already!? And probably better written by someone far more qualified than me. Because most of my passion is about what I know about quantum physics and tying that into daily living, which is based on what little I know about Dao-ism (is there such a word?)and my own life experiences in particular. How do I put that out for you to read in such a way that I dont plagiarise someone else; I dont come across as a moron; and I can feel good when I read it myself? What on earth do I write about? I read once that both in business and in writing, it is best to do or write about what we know. That way contains authenticity and passion. But I keep going into this loop over how OTHER people have already written everything I could possibly write on living your life and a whole lot better too. I mean, I have books and articles and read them often. But maybe you dont read the books that I do. Maybe you have neither the inclination or the time or something to read. Maybe, something in how I describe my understanding will resonate with you in particular, whereas it wouldnt make the same sense to you when said in different words by someone else. Thats why the idea of an article about writing an article. We go into a kind of I cant possibly do this space, in comparing ourselves with someone whom we see as having reached an expert phase, forgetting that this other person is just like us, and comes from his or her perspective which may by now be so far from where we and those like us are now that they cant actually remember how it was at our stage of the journey. Not only that, I also read somewhere that all unconsciously we DO our passion, we ARE expert in something only its such second nature to us, its so just something we do without thinking that we dont recognise it as anything special! Like I was talking to my friend Ann the other day, how she throws this whole bunch of vegetables together that she bought, and ten to twenty minutes later she has this delicious healthy meal and says with supreme unconscious brightness. See Alison, how easy it is! YOU can do this for yourself, and if you eat this way you will feel so much better! I cant argue with that because it IS good food well prepared but bugger me if I can replicate that when shes not there! Its not that Im stupid or incapable or anything like that I just dont have the same love of making food that she has, nor the capability to put together a couple of squashes and courgettes and carrots and make of them a MEAL to savour! She just does this without thinking, and cant for the life of her understand why I cannot but she also cannot understand how I can do certain things the way I do. And to me this is so easy, its so the way I am Do you get it? See You in Part Two! Alison |
