You can search through different sites advertising about link popularity that say they can increase it overnight with thousands of links directing to your site. Let me tell you something, this is a BAD decision to make if you are thinking about any of these services. I have experience in this field and thousands of links are not going to help your site out any!! One of the best ways to approach link popularity is to think about the relevance of your site to one you would like to link to. It is better for you to have a small amount of links to your site than having a large amount if the relevance is high! The higher the relevance, the less links you need to have to increase your popularity. Google and Yahoo do not only look at the amount of links, but the quality of links. If you want to get a quality link popularity, join a link exchange and only allows webmasters to join in order to gain good quality sites. Do NOT join FFA sites or link farms to get links directing to your site because it will cause your site to be banned in the worst case from the major search engines. If you get your site banned because of taking the easy way out then you shouldnt be running a site at all. The better quality, the better positioning and page rank. Allow yourself the choice to reject link requests that come to you so you can be in control of your links pages. Design your own links page on your website and do not settle for some other company doing it for you because it will not look like your site. It is very easy to create your own just using php and a little html knowledge that you should have if you are running a website. So do yourself a favor and work on getting your links on quality relevant websites and you will reap the rewards of doing this right!!
